Food Distribution
At Manna Cafe, we believe everyone deserves access to nourishing food and a warm welcome.
Our Food Distribution program provides more than 27,000 carts of groceries each year to individuals and families seeking food assistance. Each distribution begins with an opening prayer, and volunteers and staff help load groceries into neighbors’ vehicles.
Depending on availability, groceries may include fresh produce, dairy, meat, beans, rice, bread, and boxed and canned goods. Pet food and small household essentials may also be available.
This work is made possible by local grocers, retailers, and community organizations that donate food, along with our food rescue efforts and discounted purchases through Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Together, we distribute more than 2 million pounds of food annually, equivalent to more than 1.6 million meals.
Who Can Receive Food?
Life happens to all of us, and anyone can fall on hard times and need a little help. Everyone is eligible. There are no income requirements to receive food.
Registration is a brief process that requires completing a form and presenting an ID. Once registered, you may receive one full cart of groceries each month.
Whether you need help for the first time or ongoing support during a difficult season, you are welcome here.
