What is Manna Cafe
Founded in 2010, Manna Cafe Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit in Clarksville, Tennessee, serving individuals and families in need through food distribution, community meals, and wraparound support. Our mission is to feed the hungry and restore dignity—one meal, one person at a time, and to share the love of Jesus Christ through prayer.
Manna Cafe is the dream of the late Kenny York, who worked tirelessly on behalf of those less fortunate. Kenny, tragically passed away in 2022 – but his legacy of loving through food, and helping those in need lives on everyday at Manna.

If you’ll be a group of six or more, please contact our volunteer coordinator at: volunteer@mannacafeministries.com.
While small groups of volunteers (1-10) are able to plug into many of our weekly programs, larger groups require a bit of preparation and funding to ensure we acquire the supplies and/or extra staff to carry out the project. If you’ll let us know the day and time frame you’re available, your budget, and how many volunteers will be participating (and their general age range), we’ll be happy to offer a couple of project suggestions. This will give you the freedom to discuss which one will best suit your group.
Group projects have proven to be a great way for church or business communities to strengthen relationships and work as a team while benefiting the hungry and homeless of our city. We trust that this will be a rewarding experience for you.
We do our best to accomodate large groups of volunteers, and have special projects for them to accomplish.
FYI: DRESS CODE: For your own safety and because of our Christ-centered mission, please follow our dress code. No open-toed shoes, short-shorts, saggy pants, or low-cut shirts. Thank you!
Donation Information
We love and appreciate every donor, and every gift made to Manna Cafe. We receive no direct federal funding, and rely on our community to keep serving those in need. One time gifts are great, but recurring gifts are the best gift we can receive.
In fact, we’ve just launched our Two Percenter Initiative. If just 2% of Clarksville supported us with a gift of just $1.00 per day, we could fully fund the needs of our community – even when extraordinary events occur, like the recent government shutdown, where our client list jumped by 60%+ in just 30 days!
If you’d like to become a Two Percenter, simply click HERE.
Do My Donations Stay Local?
Absolutely. Yes. In fact, Manna Cafe is a Clarksville, TN “born & bred” nonprofit organization. We serve Montgomery and Stewart Counties only – so you know that when you give to Manna Cafe, 100% of your gift will go to help a neighbor in need.
Is My Donation Tax Deductible?
Yes! Manna Cafe is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. This means that every gift you make to Manna Cafe is tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
